KAWARTHA LAKES-A patient was transferred to a Toronto trauma Centre with serious injuries following a crash on county Road 8 between Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls on Tuesday.
Police say a transport truck was parked on County Road 8 on the shoulder and hit from behind by a motor vehicle.
The injured parties were in the motor vehicle and resulted a lengthy road closure.
Police are investigating and no charges have been laid at this time.
