NORTHUMBERLAND-Two people have been charged following an arrest and search under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) in Pickering and Cobourg.
On November 19, 2025, members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) arrested two individuals in Cobourg. A subsequent search warrant was carried out at a residence in Pickering.
Police say officers located and seized a handgun, around 645 grams of cocaine, a quantity of Canadian currency, cell phones and drug paraphernalia.
Shaquille Nathaniel-Lovell from Pickering, has been charged with:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Breach of firearms regulations
Andrew Jack (34) from Ajax, has been charged with:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Possession for the purpose of trafficking
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Both accused were held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
