Little Britain Resident Wins $250,000

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kenneth (Ken) O’Reilly of Little Britain is $250,000 richer after winning with INSTANT EXTREME LUCKY LINES.

Ken, who works in the automotive industry, has been playing the lottery regularly since he turned 18. “I checked my ticket on the self-scanner at the store and the screen said Big Winner. I didn’t fully realize how much I won yet,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I was so excited when I found out it was $250,000!”

The 63-year-old father and grandfather said he called his wife right away. “She was at work. I could hear her colleagues cheering for us in the background,” he smiled. “My hands were shaking – I was so happy!”

Ken plans to share his win with his wife and save for retirement.

“It’s amazing. Getting this cheque gives me goosebumps,” he concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Ultramar on Simcoe Street in Port Perry.

Congratulations!
