KAWARTHA LAKES-The OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act warrant at an address in Hastings on January 24 at approximately 1:00 p.m.
Police say the search of an individual and the residence led to the seizure of $350 in Canadian currency and drugs suspected to be 7.5 grams of cocaine, 20 Oxycodone tablets, 14 Hydromorphone tablets, two rifle rounds and four shotgun shells.
63-year-old John Clark from Hastings has been charged with:
- Traffick in Schedule I substance – cocaine
- Traffick in Schedule I substance – opioid – two counts
- Possession of ammunition contrary to probation order
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – under $5000.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
