KAWARTHA LAKES-A 21-year-old Lindsay man is facing charges after an incident Tuesday morning.
Police responded to a complaint of a family dispute on June 7th at approximately 9:00 am.
According to police, a verbal dispute between family members escalated resulting in one male striking another in the head with an airsoft pistol. The victim was treated for minor injures at the hospital. As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old Lindsay man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at the 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on July 13, 2023.
