Lindsay Man Charged After Incident In Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-A 34-year-old Lindsay man is facing a charge after an incident Friday evening in Peterborough.

At approximately 6:30 pm on March 31, 2023, officers were called to a residence in the Hunter Street West and Aylmer Street area about a domestic verbal dispute.  Police say officers were called back to the residence a short time later by a neighbour. Upon arrival, the officers were told the male involved in the verbal dispute had then made threatening comments toward the neighbour.

As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Lindsay man was arrested and charged with:

  • Uttering Threats CC- Cause death or Bodily Harm

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court April 20, 2023.

Peterborough Police no longer release the names of people charged with crimes in most cases.
