Police Investigating After Another Lindsay Business Has Window Smashed

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating after another business had a window smashed in Lindsay.

On Friday, March 3, 2023 at 12:10am while on patrol a Kawartha Lakes patrol officer found the front door of a Queen Street business smashed. Officers investigated further and determined the store had been entered. Video surveillance revealed a suspect entering the store at approximately 10:30pm before leaving with stolen property.

It’s the third such incident recently.

On Sunday February 19, 2023 at 6:22AM a citizen, reported the front window of a Kent Street West business was broken. Sometime throughout the night, the front window of the business was smashed with a brick. Unknown suspects entered, taking a quantity of cash before leaving. Sometime between 2:30PM on February 15 and 7:55AM on February 16, unknown suspects smashed a window and entered the business on William Street South in Lindsay taking electronics and a quantity of cash. On September 27,2022 just after 2:00 am this morning police were called to investigate after a door to the William Street North business was smashed, the business was entered and a quantity of cash was stolen.
