Lindsay Man Facing Impaired Driving Charges

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is facing impaired driving charges following an incident early Sunday.

On Sunday November 6, 2022 at 2:51AM Kawartha Lakes Police responded to the complaint of a driver slumped over in the driver’s seat, in a parking lot on Colborne Street West. Police say the officer located the vehicle with the ignition running and driver passed out. While speaking with the driver, the officer determined that he was impaired by alcohol and placed him under arrest according to police.

48-year-old Mark Cave of Lindsay has been charged with impaired operation – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on December 15, 2022.
