KAWARTHA LAKES-A Fenelon Falls man is one of two people facing charges after a vehicle and firearm were stolen in Lindsay.
Police say on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 3:40 am, City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a reported theft of a motor vehicle and a firearm from Crestwood Avenue in Lindsay. With the public’s assistance the vehicle and firearm have been recovered according to police. Two parties have been arrested in relation to the incident. Â
Charged with possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, mischief over $5000 and breach of probation is 32-year-old Jason Medina-Hanusiak of Fenelon Falls. Charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and mischief over $5000 is 38-year-old Justin Simpson of Lindsay.Â
Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on November 18, 2021.
