KAWARTHA LAKES-Two local men were arrested and charged when officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to altercation in Fenelon Falls.
On arrival at a Bond Street East residence, officers determined that an altercation had occurred and subsequently arrested and charged both involved parties according to police.
Robert Burke, 42 years of age, was charged with Assault with a weapon, contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on January 16, 2020.
Robert Johnston, 62 years of age, was charged with the Criminal Code offences of Assault and Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm. Â The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on February 6, 2020.
