BANCROFT-The Bancroft OPP is investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) collision in the Bancroft area.
On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, shortly before 1:45 p.m., Bancroft OPP responded to reports of an ATV collision on a trail near McCauley Lake Road.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a 64-year-old male from London, Ontario was operating an ATV when it rolled over. The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
