Another Successful Year For The Kawartha Lakes Country Living Show

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Fenelon Falls & District Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Country Living Show at the Roger Bellwood Arena and Gord Innes Community Centre on April 17-19.

The event has become a tradition for many local residents, who enjoy visiting every year to see local merchants and find out what’s new. The event was well attended as always, and featured Browning Reptiles. For several years now, Jacob Waite has made an effort to contribute an interesting activity for visitors—this year it was face painting— Christy Smith’s artistic creations were beautiful.

The arena and community centre were filled with businesses and a few not-for-profit organizations.

All of their booths were professionally done, and reflected well on the enterprises. The Pie Shack was selling their tasty treats, while the White Cottage Café operated the onsite kitchen. There were several new exhibitors, and a few that have been part of the local business community for years—like Handley Lumber, Coulter Heating & Air Conditioning and Fenelon Falls Real Estate.
