Firearms And Drugs Seized Following Police Raids In Trent Hills

PETERBOROUGH-The OPP has charged five people following a search and subsequent arrests in the Municipality of Trent Hills.

On March 25, 2026, members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the OPP Canine Unit (K9), executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at a residence on Grand Road.

During the search, officers located ammunition, a bullet‑proof vest, approximately $1,000 in Canadian currency, and roughly 170 grams of suspected cocaine according to police.

Police say one individual attempted to flee the area and discarded a loaded handgun, which was later recovered by police.

A separate traffic stop nearby resulted in the arrest of a person wanted on warrants and another occupant. A search of the vehicle yielded a loaded handgun, approximately 310 grams of suspected cocaine, and over $10,000 in Canadian currency according to police.

As a result, a number of persons were taken into custody.

Justin Moore (27) from Campbellford, has been charged with:

–      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

–      Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

–      Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order – four counts

–      Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Natasha Johnson (37) from Campbellford, has been charged with:

–      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

–      Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

–      Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Ryan Robertson (44) from Campbellford, has been charged with:

–      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

–      Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition

–      Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order

–      Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Jahnye Henricks (31) of no fixed address, has been charged with:

–      Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm

–      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

–      Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order

–      Transporting a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner

–      Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm

–      Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

Nathalie Tran (37) from Oshawa, has been charged with:

–      Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm

–      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

–      Transporting a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner

–      Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm

–      Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

All of the accused were held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
