KAWARTHA LAKES-The Hallmark store at Lindsay Square Mall is permanently closing its doors. Staff posted signs notifying customers of the closure this week. Inventory is marked down for clearance.
One staff member has been working at the store for more than 25 year while another has been there for 18 years.
The Hallmark Store in Peterborough Closed in February 2025 while the Sudbury location closed in January 2025. The Belleville Store also closed.
The mall has suffered a number of closures recently with the Ricki’s store closing, Bentley also closed and one of the two jewelry stores recently closed.
It’s unclear how many staff will be impacted. The exact closing day has not been announced.
