KAWARTHA LAKES-The Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) has preemptively decided to close all schools, education centres, and child care centres in schools tomorrow, Thursday, March 6.
Officials say the decision was made in anticipation of a rapid freeze, snowfall, and strong winds causing low visibility throughout the Board tonight and into tomorrow,
“This decision was made with the safety of our students and staff as the top priority.” said the board in a statement,
Please note, schools will not be moving to online learning.”We hope students will take this opportunity to catch up on work, read a book, and/or get outside to play!” said the board.
