“Pretty In Pink” Handbags For Health Fundraiser Coming To Lindsay In February

KAWARTHA LAKES-Join Community Care on February 7th, 2025 for a fabulous night of fashion and philanthropy, all while raising funds for a great cause. The theme is “Pretty in Pink”, so grab your favorite pink purse, put on your best blush-toned outfit, and raise a toast to health, hope, and a whole lot of style!

Proceeds from Handbags for Health will go towards Community Care’s programming. Community Care helps seniors stay safe, connected, and live as independently as possible. A healthy community means that everyone has access to health and wellness services regardless of circumstances. With your support, we are able to provide these necessities to all those who need them. To honour the history of the event and its supporters, proceeds raised from the Fund-a-Need portion of the evening will continue to go towards Hospice Services.

Though Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes does receive some outside funding, the reality is that many of our programs need to be funded or require additional funds. Our Handbags for Health will help raise much-needed funds to support our extensive programs this year. From funding for new integral Specialized Transportation vans or our Community Dental Clinic, subsidies for transportation, Meals on Wheels, and Adult Day programming, to ensuring that our Hospice & Grief Services continue to serve those in need in our community, and so much more.
