Good Protein, A Canadian Success Story Is Rebranding And Ready To Double Its Sales

ONTARIO-With annual revenue expected to surpass $50 million this year and projections to double to $100 million within the next 18 months, Good Protein is ready to break the silence on how it has achieved such rapid success.

“Our growth trajectory has been nothing short of phenomenal. In just five years, we’ve seen annual growth rates as high as 900%, and we’re on track to surpass $50 million in sales this year and will reach $100 million in annual sales within the next 18 months, primarily from sales in Canada. It’s a clear reflection of the trust we’ve built with our community and the quality of our products.” said Edward Lalonde, CEO, Good Protein.

Edward Lalonde founded Good Protein in 2019 in Quebec. Lalonde has a background in nutrition, naturopathy and personal training and says he was frustrated by the other protein options available.

“[It became my] mission to create a plant-based protein drink that was both creamy and rich tasting and not gritty,” Lalonde said. “I wanted mine to taste exactly like your favourite sweet snacks and curb cravings to keep you full longer,” Lalonde told the National Post.

Good Protein initially chose to bypass physical retail stores to build a direct-to-consumer (DTC) empire, along with the revolutionary digital and e-commerce strategies that have earned the brand “best in class” status from Meta. Their advertising approach is blending authentic video content, captivating imagery, and perfectly timed execution and this has played a key role in the growth of the company.

The company is now unveiling upgrades to its signature All-in-One Shakes. With four key enhancements—creamier taste, smoother texture, even cleaner ingredients, and a bold new look—this is the next evolution of a fan favourite that has been years in the making.

What’s New?

Our All-in-One Shakes, already a favourite among customers, are now better than ever. This latest version comes with four key enhancements:

  1. Creamier Taste – Smoother, more indulgent flavours for an enhanced drinking experience.
  2. Smoother Texture – A perfect blend every time, making each shake even more enjoyable.
  3. Cleaner Ingredients – We’ve upgraded our recipe to remove seed oils, replacing sunflower oil with coconut-derived MCT oil. Our new recipe also includes an even higher count of fruits and vegetables, ensuring a more balanced vitamin and mineral profile in every sip.
  4. Bolder & Brighter Look – Each flavor blends true to its character: Strawberry & Cream blends pink, Peanut Butter blends brown—no surprises, just beautiful, natural colors.

To commemorate the launch of the new look and feel, the company has introduced two brand-new, permanent flavours to the All-in-One Shake family: Peanut Butter and Mixed Berries.

In addition to the changes to the All-in-One Shakes, functional wellness products—Green & Red Superfood Juices, Plant-based Collagen Booster, and Golden Turmeric Latte—will also receive updated packaging.

Officials say due to growing demand and interest from the Canadian grocery industry, Good Protein will be hitting the shelves of major big-box retail stores across Canada by the end of the year.

“With the incredible momentum we’ve built online, now is the perfect time to expand into major Canadian retailers. By the end of this year, we’re thrilled to bring our health-conscious, flavour-filled world to even more people, allowing them to experience Good Protein wherever they shop. We are on track to becoming the biggest superfood company in North America, and the growing demand and unparalleled interest from the Canadian grocery industry are clear signs we’re on the right path. We’ll be hitting the shelves of major big-box stores across Canada by the end of the year,” Lalonde told Kawartha 411 News.
