OPP Asking For Public’s Help To Locate Stolen Trailer

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough County OPP is seeking the public’s assistance to help locate a trailer stolen from an address on Highway 28 in Douro-Dummer Township.

On August 4, 2024, Peterborough County OPP received a call from an individual who stated that a trailer had been stolen from their location on Highway 28 just north of County Road 4 in Douro-Dummer Township.

The trailer was reported as being taken sometime between Friday August 2, 2024, and Sunday August 4, 2024. The trailer is described as a V-nose fully enclosed trailer, 27 feet in length, with a distinct black and white paint with chrome down the sides. The trailer had licence plate W2460F on it at the time that it was taken and has a VIN of 53BATEB26NB013632.

At the time the trailer was taken, it also contained a kayak, an RV Sewage tank, an ice fishing sled, and ATV helmets.

Investigators are looking to locate the trailer and identify the individuals responsible for taking it, and ask that anyone that may be able to assist, reach out to the Peterborough County OPP.
