Lindsay Native Wins Silver Medal In Women’s Rugby Sevens At the 2024 Olympics

KAWARTHA LAKES-Lindsay’s Olivia Apps won a silver medal in Rugby on Tuesday, July 30th at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Team Canada was in the gold medal championship game, losing a hard-fought match 19-12 to New Zealand, the defending Olympic champs.

Canada beat Australia 21-12 earlier in the day to make it to the finals.

The Silver is the best-ever Rugby showing for Canada at the Olympics.
