KAWARTHA LAKES-Lindsay is getting a new hotel.
The Best Western Plus will be located on Angeline Street South right beside the Days Inn and Suites by Wyndham Lindsay. The hotel will have 76 rooms including some extended-stay style rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness room and a restaurant.
CKL Hotels Inc who owns the land and will own the hotel had their first mobilization meeting on April 26th. They are using MVW a local builder and local trades including Drain Brothers and DM Wills. CKL Hotels Inc. also owns the Days Inn and Suites by Wyndham Lindsay.
The property will be fenced off and owners of the land want to remind the public that the trail which runs through the property is private property and will be closed off to the public due to construction.
Construction will be starting soon and the company is working towards an opening date of Fall 2025.
