McDonnell Park West Shoreline Improvements To Begin January 30

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City says shoreline improvements within McDonnell Park West between Bond Street West and Colborne Street West in Lindsay are scheduled to begin on Tuesday January 30, 2024, this work will impact access to the trail along the western shoreline of the Scugog River.

Improvements will include the replacement of gabion baskets and the installation of rip rap to secure the shoreline. The shoreline work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, February 19, 2024.

Trail closure signs will be posted at the Bond Street West and Colborne Street West entrances to the trail. Access to this section of the trail will be restricted during the time periods in which active work is taking place. The area will reopen during times in which work is not being conducted.
