KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service conducted a traffic stop on Saturday January 20th at approximately 2:20am. Police say further investigation revealed that a 22-year-old Springwater female was Impaired. She was subsequently charged with Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drug and Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Following that, on Saturday at approximately 9:30am the Kawartha Lakes Police Service attended a single motor vehicle collision. As a result of the investigation a 39-year-old Toronto male was charged with the following offences:
- Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on February 29th, 2024.
