ONTARIO-he Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad would like to advise the public that a Federal Offender who went unlawfully at large on October 16, 2023, has been apprehended in Hamilton.
Michael Stamatakos was located and arrested by the Hamilton Police Service.
He is currently serving a two (2) year sentence for: Arson-Damage to Property, Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance, Flight from Peace Officer, Utter Threat to Cause Death/Harm and Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
His whereabouts became unknown.
The Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad thanked the public and the media for their assistance in this investigation.
