KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is currently on scene investigating a fire that took place early this morning where one person has been pronounced deceased.
On December 16, 2023 at approximately 2:30 am, officers and City of Kawartha Lakes Fire and Rescue were sent to a house fire on Cedar Crescent near Janetville. A 62 year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP remains on scene as the investigation continues with the assistance of the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
