KAWARTHA LAKES-Highway 115 Southbound was closed for hours in the area of Boundary Road following a multi-vehicle crash.
Police say it involved 12 vehicles, nine were in the ditch and several rolled over. Two people were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries including one who was injured while outside their vehicle when they were hit by a vehicle.
Witnesses reported the road was icy in the area at the time and Environment Canada was calling for snow squalls and white-outs.
There’s no word on charges.
