Illuminated Forest Returns To Ken Reid Conservation Area

KAWARTHA LAKES-It’s time to experience the Cedar Forest at Ken Reid Conservation Area like never before. The Illuminated Forest is a holiday experience to enjoy the popular trail at night walking among hundreds of magically illuminated trees.

This is the second year of the popular illuminated forest experience at Ken Reid. It runs nightly from dusk to 9 pm until the end of December.

“We are delighted to bring back the Illuminated Forest for its second year, building on the overwhelming joy it brought to our community in 2022,” says Kawartha Conservation CAO Mark Majchrowski in a media release. “This event is about creating a magical space where families and friends can come together and enjoy the beauty of the season.”

Experience the beauty of the Cedar forest after dark and also create new holiday traditions with family and friends.

Ken Reid is at 277 Kenrei Road in Lindsay. Admission is free. Parking is $4 per vehicle excluding annual parking pass holders. UPDATE: THE PAY AND DISPLAY MACHINE IS BROKEN. You will need to pay cash.
Donations received throughout December help support the community events, including Christmas at Ken Reid and the Kawartha Fall Festival.
