Public Information Session Tonight For Proposed New 894 Home Subdivision In Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes is holding a Public Information Session on the proposed new Fenelon Trails housing development in Fenelon Falls tonight.

The application consists of 894 dwelling units including 427 single detached homes, 242 townhouses, one mixed-use block and three medium-density residential blocks on Kawartha Lakes 121.

Officials say the purpose of the meeting is to notify residents of the submitted applications; Introduce TOR Construction Ltd. to residents; Provide information related to the proposed applications; and Provide the opportunity for public questions and input.

Representatives from GHD, the planning consultant, will present the planning framework, the amendments being sought and the Draft Plan of Subdivision and a representative of TOR Construction Ltd. will be in attendance to discuss the proposed development and respond to questions.

7:00 – 7:10 pm Introductions

7:10 – 7:30 pm Formal Presentation

7:30 – 8:45 pm Questions and Discussion

Information gathered at the session will be provided to the City of Kawartha Lakes for use in their review of the applications.
