Lindsay Firefighters Reminding Residents They Will Be Collecting Spare Change At The Santa Claus Parade This Sunday

KAWARTHA LAKES-Tis the season for good cheer and giving back.

The Lindsay Santa Claus Parade is Sunday, November 19th and the Kawartha Lakes career and volunteer firefighters from Station 1, Lindsay will be collecting spare change in a boot drive.

The parade begins at 2 pm starting from the recreation centre on Adelaide Street South and travelling North to Kent Street and through the downtown.

The boot drive money collected will go towards local community charities along with the local Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Officials say since the pandemic people aren’t carrying as much change so firefighters are reminding residents to bring their spare change.
