100 Kids Who Care Launches 2023 Kindness Cards Campaign

KAWARTHA LAKES-100 Kids Who Care Kawartha Lakes has launched its Kindness Cards Campaign for 2023.

The group gives children the opportunity to learn about their community, empowers them to become advocates for organizations and issues that matter to them, learn the importance of giving back and how they can use their time, treasure and talent to make a difference and see the impact they can have right here at home in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

Local kids can colour Christmas pages or make Christmas cards and they will be dropped off for seniors in our community this Holiday season. 100 Kids typically drops them off to Community Care to be delivered with their Meals on Wheels programs. Any additional cards will be dispersed to local retirement homes.  The inaugural Campaign was held in December of 2020 with $1175 raised for Meals on Wheels and over 500 cards were delivered to seniors
Drop-off locations this year are Fresh FueLL at 172 Angeline Street North in Lindsay, Tradewind Toys & Gifts at 11 Kent Street W in Lindsay and RWH Construction at 13 Lindsay Street in Fenelon Falls.
