PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on October 31, 2023, just prior to 12:30pm after allegedly observing the vehicle travelling southbound on Highway 28.
Police say the officer noted that the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop in order to speak with the driver.
52-year-old Daniel McCallum of Toronto ON, has been charged with Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus.
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on November 28, 2023.
