KAWARTHA LAKES-Two teenagers have been charged with robbery after an incident early Saturday morning in Lindsay.
Officers were called to a business on William Street North at approximately 12:30am on October 7th. Upon arrival, officers were told that two individuals in disguise had entered the store, brandishing a hatchet. After allegedly demanding cash from the clerk, they fled the store and were located and arrested a short distance away by police.
No one was injured during the incident.
As a result of the investigation,
A 16-year-old male is charged with:
- Robbery with weapon
- Disguise with intent
A 13-year-old male is charged with:
- Robbery with weapon
- Disguise with intent
Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on November 21, 2023.
