Impaired Driving Charges Laid After Vehicle Flips Onto Its Roof

KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP investigated a single-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 35 at Hwy 7A just before 10 pm on October 8.

Police along with Kawartha Lakes Fire and EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck that flipped onto its roof while travelling northbound on Hwy 35.

The driver of the motor vehicle has been arrested and charged.

42-year-old Natalia Dunphy of Lindsay was charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The vehicle was towed.
