Three People Taken To Hospital In Crash On Highway 7

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating a serious two-vehicle collision last night on Highway 7 where three people were transported to hospital.

On September 17 at approximately 7:40 pm police, along with fire and EMS, were dispatched to the two-vehicle collision involving a car and a pickup truck at Highway 7 and County Road 46. Occupants from the pickup truck, a 62-year-old male driver of Keswick, and a 58-year-old female passenger, of Stratford, were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the car, a 21-year-old female of Little Britain, was transported to a Toronto area Trauma Centre.

Highway 7 was closed for several hours while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has video/dash camera footage of the collision and has not spoken with police is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
