Suspect Wanted In Purse Snatching In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police are investigating after a woman had her purse stolen Saturday evening.

While walking on Queen Street in the area of St Peter Street in Lindsay the victim says she was approached by a male who stole her purse. The male ran into Queen Street, entering the passenger side of an awaiting pick-up truck according to police.

The vehicle was last seen travelling west on Queen Street. No physical injuries resulted from this incident. 

As a result of the investigation, it was learned that the victim’s debit card was later used to make multiple transactions in the Bobcaygeon area. 

The suspect is described as; male, wearing a baseball hat, plaid shirt, jeans and white running shoes.

Vehicle description; grey, 2010, Ford Explorer Sport Trac, Ontario license plate “BV 35147”
