OPP Investigating Vehicle Theft On Fife’s Bay Marina Line

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough County OPP is investigating the theft of a vehicle on Fife’s Bay Marina Line that was parked in the owner’s driveway.

The theft occurred sometime throughout the night on March 18, 2023. Police say the suspect(s) stole a 2019 black Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Ontario marker BV33655.

Just a reminder, here are some Lock it or Lose it tips to help keep your vehicle safe;

  • Always roll up your vehicle’s windows, lock the doors and pocket the key.
  • Never leave your vehicle unattended while it is running.
  • If you have a garage, use it and lock the door as well as your vehicle.
  • Never leave your car keys in plain view or in an easily accessible area
  • Inform your local police department if you see vehicles or vehicle-related activities that look suspicious.

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to a suspect or suspect(s) in this case. Anyone that witnessed or has video footage of the theft can contact the Peterborough County OPP Detachment at 705-742-0401, 1-888- 310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
