KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay male faces weapons charges after an incident Tuesday morning.
Police say at approximately 5:45am on Tuesday March 7th police were called after a box cutter-style blade was pulled on a man. The caller reported, while sitting in his vehicle having a conversation with an individual he was approached by an acquaintance of that individual. The acquaintance interrupted the conversation and pulled out a box cutter-style blade and held it in his face before leaving the area. As a result of an investigation, officers located and arrested the suspect a short time later.Â
A 40-year-old Lindsay male has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was held for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
