Residents Near Sharbot Lake Asked To Shelter In Place As Police Search For Armed Suspects

UPDATE:Police say the “situation is safe” and residents are no longer required to shelter in place. The suspects remain at-large.

KAWARTHA LAKES-Lanark OPP is investigating two armed suspects at large in the Lanark County & Sharbot Lake areas.

 

Police sent out an Alert asking residents to shelter in place. Lock all doors & windows. Notify police of any suspicious person.

If the suspect is seen, do not approach and call 911.
