KAWARTHA LAKES-A 33-year-old has been arrested and charged after police say they fled from officers conducting a traffic stop.
Peterborough CountyOPP officers say they attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 7 at approximately 9:30pm last night. The vehicle fled from police but was located after it entered the ditch on Henderson Line according to police. The uninjured driver was arrested without further incident.
Dejuan QUEST (age 33) of Toronto, was charged with:
• Flight from peace officer
• Dangerous operation
• Resist peace officer
• Drive motor vehicle-no licence
• Drive without proper rear light
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on March 3, 2023.
