Police Looking For Suspects After Man Assaulted And Robbed In His Home During Break-In

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating after a man was robbed and assaulted during a break-in.

On Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at around 10:00 PM, a male victim was alone in his apartment on Lindsay Street in Lindsay. Police say two men entered the apartment and proceeded to restrain and assault the victim. A quantity of cash, a black android phone and some personal items were taken by the suspects.

After the suspects left the apartment, the victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. The Kawartha Lakes Police Criminal Investigation Branch is continuing the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crimestoppers.
