Impaired Charges Laid After Crash On Redmond Road Near Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough County OPP responded to a collision on Redmond Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. last night after the driver allegedly lost control and struck a tree.

48-year-old Scott Woodcock of Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, was arrested and charged with:

• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on November 3, 2022.

The Peterborough County OPP reminds motorists to plan ahead when consuming alcohol. Use a designated driver, cab, public transit, or stay overnight.
