UPDATE:Apprehended -ROPE Squad Looking For Federal Offender Known To Frequent Oshawa

UPDATE-The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad would like to advise the public that a Federal Offender who went unlawfully at large on May 30, 2022, has been apprehended in Oshawa.

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of Statutory Release.

Jeffery Avery is described as a Caucasian male, 25 years of age, 6′ (183cm), 149 lbs (68kgs) with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on his neck, as well as “Avery”, Roses and “Timeless”, and Praying Hands on his right forearm. He has a star, and “family” on his left forearm. He also has a cross on his right hand and “Respect and Honour” on his left wrist.

Police say he is currently serving a three-year and six-day sentence for Forcible Confinement, Robbery, Assault with a Weapon, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Trafficking Schedule I and II, Identity Theft, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

The offender is known to frequent Oshawa, Sudbury and North Bay.
