Police Looking For Suspect After Convenience Store Robbery On Friday Night In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service is looking for a suspect after a convenience store robbery on Friday night.

On Friday, August 12 officers responded to a Queen Street convenience store in Lindsay, regarding a robbery that had occurred at approximatley 9:15 pm. A lone male suspect was last seen exiting the store running westbound on Queen Street. 

The suspect is described as male, white, medium build, entered the store wearing a dark-coloured button up collared shirt and dark-coloured jeans. Police say the suspect approached the counter, brandishing a weapon demanding money from the clerk before leaving the store. There were no physical injuries reported. 

Video surveillance of the suspect has been obtained by police. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact the Kawartha Lakes Police Service at 705.324.5252.
