Police Investigating After Vehicle Stolen While Warming Up In The Driveway

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating the theft of a motor vehicle.

Police say on Saturday November 20, 2021 at 9:40am, a Peace Road resident started their vehicle in the driveway and went back inside.  When they came back outside several minutes later the vehicle was gone.

The vehicle is described as a 2020 Ford, F-150 pick-up truck, regular cab, black in colour with Ontario licence plate “BA38991.”  Inside the vehicle, also stolen was a wallet with contents, two Stihl chainsaws and a crossbow.

The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is asking anyone who may have information about this theft to contact them at 705.324.5252. Or if you wish to provide your information anonymously you can do so through Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.TIPS (8499) or at www.khcrimestoppers.com.
