Kirkfield Resident Charged After Alleged Brawl Involving A Number Of People In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-On Friday November 5, 2021 at 5:16pm the Kawartha Lakes Police responded to a disturbance on Lindsay Street South in Lindsay.

It was reported that two males were fighting and a number of others had joined in according to police.

As a result of an investigation, 44-year-old Janson Weaver of Kirkfield has been charged with assault. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West on December 16, 2021. 

On Sunday November 7th at 5:12pm the Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a Mary Street West residence in Lindsay for reported threats. It was reported that two males were engaged in a verbal dispute which involved threats.

Police say the dispute escalated, resulting in one of the males assaulting the other. 34-year-old Thomas Hayes of Lindsay has been charged with assault and uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm X2.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on December 16, 2021.
