Charges Laid After Electric Scooter Stolen From Lindsay Residence

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 34-year-old Lindsay man is facing charges after theft of an electric scooter in Lindsay.

Police say on Thursday October 7, 2021 at 9:41pm Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a Lindsay Street North address for the theft of an electric scooter. The complainant advised the scooter was taken from their residence between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

With the assistance of witnesses and video surveillance police identified and arrested the accused. 34-year-old Michael Campbell of Lindsay is charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street in Lindsay on November 18, 2021.
