Kawartha Lakes Fire Department Rescues 12-Year-Old Swimmer From The Gull River

KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the Kawartha Lakes Fire Department rescued a young swimmer this morning at approximately 10:30.

The OPP says firefighters with the Norland division pulled a 12yr old female swimmer from the swirling waters at the Elliott Falls Park on Gull River.

Acting Fire Chief Terry Jones told Kawartha 411 “Ultimately it was a good outcome.”
