Crash In Lindsay Snaps Hydro Pole Knocking Out Power To Hundreds

KAWARTHA LAKES-An early morning crash in Lindsay knocked out power to hundreds of people. According to Hydro One, 412 customers were affected.

At approximately 3:30 am a vehicle left the road and hit a hydro pole on the lawn of the Food 4 Less on Highway 36 in Lindsay.

The pole was sheared in-half and the vehicle heavily damaged. There’s no word on injuries or charges.

Power has since been restored.

The time of the incident has been updated to 3:30 am approximately.
