Some Bobcaygeon Merchants Taking A Stand And Staying Open For Outdoor Shopping Despite Threats Of Hefty Fines From Bylaw Officers

KAWARTHA LAKES-Bobcaygeon is open for business. some Business owners are taking a stand today and staying open for outdoor shopping despite threats of hefty fines from bylaw for owners and staff. Merchants say they understood the need for closures earlier but enough is enough. Owners say they cannot afford to stay closed one day longer. Bylaw officers told business owners they had to take in their items that were outside for sale or face fines.
