Coronavirus Outbreak Declared At Dairy Queen In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-As we first told you on Monday there are four cases of Coronavirus associated with the Dairy Queen in Lindsay.

The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District health Unit has declared an outbreak at the restaurant.

Staff at Daily Queen told Kawartha 411 the facility was closed for a deep cleaning and would re-open on the weekend.

It’s unclear when the impacted employees were last in the building.

There was only one new case of the virus reported in Kawartha Lakes today after two days of double digit increases. The health unit says there are 60 active cases of Coronavirus in Kawartha Lakes at this time.
