PETERBOROUGH-A 41-year-old man wanted in several jurisdictions was arrested by bike patrol and Community F.I.R.S.T. officers Monday.
At approximately 9:00am on July 27, 2026, officers were called to a convenience store at McDonnell and Aylmer Street about a theft and that the suspect had just fled the store. Upon arrival, officers started searching the area and located a man matching the description given to police nearby and took him into custody.
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Theft under $5000
- Failure to Comply with Probation
The accused is currently bound by a probation order with the following condition: to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was released on an undertaking and given a court date of October 20, 2026, before being turned over to another jurisdiction to answer to their warrants.
